I'm asked by many people 'What is my business?'. And I give them my usual list of healing modalities that I offer and things I'm certified in - Cert. Reflexologist, Reiki Master, Cert. Applied Aromatherapy Instructor, Deep Relaxation Specialist, EFT-CC, etc., etc......
That doesn't seem to answer their question completely.
I was talking with 2 very close friends lately - you know, it's wonderful to talk to your friends as they see you beyond what you can see yourself:) - and they really helped me clarify my business.
So I was mentioning to my first friend that I was having a challenge coming up with a 'Title' for myself, as I blend healing modalities and utilize them together....her words were "You're a 'Transition Facilitator'...that's the way I see you." And I really liked that - it felt good to me.
As I was contemplating some more, I was asking myself, 'So, if someone wants to know what I DO, how do I explain 'Transition Facilitator'?' My other friend (at the same time that I 'heard' the word within myself), said 'You're the 'Bridge'.' Oh! I could see the picture (and my friend so kindly expanded on that picture:).
So, What do I do? I am the bridge, connecting the old to the new, reaching the next level of their healing (physical or emotional) from their unbelief to the possibilities, then belief that they can do 'THIS' (whatever 'THIS' may be), gently and safely. Each release of the 'old' (limits/blocks/thoughts) is one step closer to the other side of the bridge where the 'new' (possibilities/new thinking/new beliefs) are reached.
I especially find this to be true among religious people. I was raised in a very religious environment, and I'm thankful for that. But we may have learned a lot of fear along the way, and this fear may confine us in reaching our accomplishments. I work very well with this group of people, as I've begun where they began and have realized many healings in my life, including emotional ones. And I'm continuing to heal every second of every day. This allows me to grow, learn, become more of what I want to be in this life.
We all go across many bridges in our lives - we talk about going through phases. I like the bridge analogy - the bridge allows us to actually reach something - it's our choice whether it's more enlightening and lifting, or not.
So, if this feels like something that you've been needing, well, you'll know what to do.
If you're in the position of just beginning your 'new you', I have created a CD that's available on this website - the healing relaxation cd - it's wonderful to use at whatever level of healing you may be at this time. Also, we are doing some exciting webinars you may be interested in - you can either find out more on FB @ http://www.facebook.com/pages/Conscious-Healing-for-Beginners/171597672878926?v=app_4949752878&ref=sgm - you can join to be notified of each webinar.
